Jul. 17th, 2005 11:00 amWent into town around one pm yesterday and got my copy of Half Blood Prince. I also got color pens and another pen for free with my purchase, lol.
I spent the day reading (I'd also read some TTT previously, so I'm not completely potterised) and around nine pm or so we fired up our electric grill and lit the lanterns on our glassed in balcony. I had bought some BBQ friendly groceries while downtown so we grilled salmon, halloumi cheese, spring onions and red peppers. It was nice.
Then we had some wine and watched some of TVs 12 hour long 1980s-marathon.
Today I woke up at seven and have been reading ever since (and drinking tea.) Malin's still sleeping. I hope to be at page 200 before the day is over (I'm at 110 now) and to have read another chapter of TTT. This is not quite the accomplishment it sounds since HBP is extremely thrilling and I'm both frightened and anxious to find out how the mysteries presented in the first chapters are resolved.
Yesterday we got an SMS from my brother who is vacationing in Turkey asking about the bomb and letting us know they were all right.
