Just watched the Grimm series finale and it was the most anti-climactic thing EVER. It's like someone read the Harry Potter epilog and thought "That's so clever! Let's emulate that!" and completely missed the part where spelling everything out cheated the readers out of imagining their own futures for the characters.

I feel cheated. Like WHAT.

“Everything tragic that can happen will happen,” warns executive producer David Greenwalt. “The episode is bold and extremely emotional.”

HAHAHA fuck you

:D

Grimm has done an excellent job so far not overusing the "shocking character death" trope, they better not start now.

I have a creeping suspicion they're going to kill off a character in order to ~solve~ a love triangle, in which case, double fuck you. :D

Because if a woman doesn't get the guy, she might as well die?

1) “The Chosen One”.

Nope, being a Grimm is pretty rare and an awesome ability, but there’s nothing unique about Nick. Not even the tiniest prophecy mentions his name!

2) “The Hero Stands Alone”

Well, there was that long stretch when he was keeping his powers a secret from everyone and his pets, but every person in his life knows the truth now. In fact, they all know the truth about each other and work together to solve problems.

3) “Shocking Major Character Death”

Kelly’s death is the first major character death and it comes at the end of season four - thus making it actually shocking. And it has ramifications through all of season five. No store bought shock value for you!

It almost took me a year, but as of yesterday, I am all caught up on Grimm!

I really like the show. Sure, it has its bad storylines, and a few upsetting things (the current situation with Nick and a certain blond is very, eh, weird) but all in all I like it.

The first season was a bit slow, and it was very frustrating to see the familiar storyline of Nick keeping his powers secret from everyone in his life. (Won't this trope die already??)

But now that everyone is up to speed, it's quite exciting to see them rally together to solve cases, each using their own unique skillset.

It's one of those shows where I genuinely like the majority of the characters. And yes, even Adalind. Even if her budding romance with Nick feels fake, her redemption arc does not.

And my favorite character of all - Trubel!
