The End of an Era

kribbanThis morning the fire alarm went off again! Everyone evactuated... again. The fire department came. Etc etc. Talk about the boy who cried wolf.
I went to a chinese restaurant with Anette and Roland for lunch. It's the first restaurant I ever went to with Malin, on the last day of my second visit. We took the bus into town (with my luggage) and had lunch. After that we went into the bath room and kissed goodbye. When I moved down in February 1999 we went there on a Saturday evening to mark the change (this time we went home together.) We've been there several more times after that.
This is the last week I live with Malin in Geneta. On Monday the past six and a half years are over. The end of an era.

It's very sad but I try not to think about it. I'll still live in Södertälje, I'll still see Malin but those first intense years, when it was just the two of us (and her other personas) and we only had each other and discovered everything together - are over.
I have bought film for my camera and will try to document as much of the neighbourhood I can. I plan to make a Geneta photo album for this era, with pictures and anecdotes.
I'm so thankful I got to experience this. I don't want to forget.
