I´ve been locked out of the apartment.
It was awful. I came back from school, went shopping for two hours on town and running errends. Then when I come home I realize that I´ve forgotten my key! I don´t have any money left on my cell so I can´t call Malin. I sit and wait in the stairs for forty minutes, writing a UA. Ouch! Then when she finally calls, she misunderstands something I say and she hungs up on me! Then I have to wait for ten more minutes until she calls again and I can explain what's wrong. I leave the grocery bag in front of the door and go to the store where I shop two full bags of groceries because I don´t want to have to do it when I return. Then I go to the busstop. The bus is full of screaming kids who are running around and the driver has to tell them twice in the speaker that they have to stay in their seats. Finally he just makes scary monster noises into the mike until they are sitting still. I go to town, to Malin´s job, get her keys and goes home again. *Finally* I am home!
It´s a weird feeling, being mere inches from everything you want. I really wanted to get inside and curl up. The saddest thing was having eyecontact with Douglas through the letterbox. He kept meowing and whining and rubbing up against the door trying to smell my finger. He looked so sad, like he was wondering why I wasn´t coming inside.
Now I feel fine though. There´s food in the fridge!
