Oct. 21st, 2003 11:53 amI'm at work. I slept well last night, only seven plus hours but really hard and un-interrupted. I even had time to wash my hair and eat porridge this morning. So I feel fine. I will go to lunch very soon and then half the day is done. I ate a sandwich and drank cocoa for breakfast at work. Okay... getting into useless TMI there. Right. The Show (TM) was great last Sunday.
The Afflicted One of the week was wonderful, a mentally handicapped homeless old man who had gained the power to be invisible. He was living in people's apartments in the building that used to be the mental hospital and pretending to be part of the families. So sad. Anyway, in one family the father molested the daughter and the mother knew about it (which the old man learned when he pushed a box of incriminating pictures on the floor and she just stuffed them back.) He revealed himself during a party (after having talked to the daughter and told her she had to go to the police) and when they called the cops he managed to make himself invisible again (he had been practising, I say!) and pushed the box down again. The cops took the parents away and the girl was picked up by her friend's family. Then Light made contact with the old man and promised if he joined her side he would go to a place that he would love, where he would get peace and quiet which he wanted but still be needed and loved, and also there would be unlimited supply of coffee! LOL, he asked her that and she promised he'd get all the coffee he wanted. ;-)
Anna-Lena proved to be out to kill ALL the Afflicted Ones when she tried to kill a woman with the power to give life who chose Light. That's kind of a bummer but it makes sense. "Without warriors no war" she had written while in trance and if you kill all the Afflicted Ones there'll be no war, and the war seems to be a pretty gruesome thing since Joachim's brother blew his brains out when he saw it in his visions. So at least she's not really evil. She accidentally almost killed a child and was so upset she attempted suicide in a car wash but was prevented by TPTB.
She later crashed at Joachim's place, who after having been contacted by a fanatic "I-see-the-truth-and-post-newspaper-clippings-bearing-signs-all-over-my-walls" man (which Malin LOVED) finally gave up his conspiracy theories about the government killing his brother and started to Believe. Oooh. Can't wait till next Sunday!
