Squee! Work is so good! Personal life is so good!
I came home from work a while back. All employees got a jigsaw puzzle and a really nice and warm winter jacket that doesn't look stupid or anything. I love it! It's white and warm and really good quality.
Now, having just done the dishes and being ready to pop into the shower Malin comes home with the XTTT!!! We had not received the postal slip for it so we didn't think we'd gotten it. We were so depressed. Then, she figured she would check anyway to see if it had come and it had!
Which of course mean that after showering and dressing up we will first make our own Christmas cards (we bought a do-it-yourself kit for really classy cards but haven't had time to make them yet), eat the food we’ve got left, have friends over and then watch the movie with lit candles and the bottle of wine we’ve got left. Squee!
And of course tomorrow we’ll dress up and go into town and buy the last Christmas presents and ROTK soundtrack, (between working and her schedule and being poor we haven't been to town the two of us for months!) watch the film at four and then go to the traditional pre-Christmas movie restaurant and eat and squee about it. OMG re this weekend!! It's finally here! And I love my job! *pets co-workers and boss*
