Apr. 6th, 2005 05:49 pmI downloaded a new (better) version of Håll om Mig - the song that lost the Swedish ESC try-outs by three points. It's so good. Sigh. :-)
Did I mention lately how much I love my job?
Yesterday my department went the open air museum on the mountain and had lunch. You have view over the entire city there which is very nice and they always have a wonderful salad buffét (with soup) for starter. I had some steak with cream sauce and potatoes and lots of yummy salad things. There was a large photograph of Södertälje at the turn of the century and we tried to figure out what every building was. It was so pleasant. :-)
And in general work is fun and stimulating. I love my desk and my co-workers and the little corner where we sit. Work is varying and stimulating (although sometimes it's too slow, of course. ;-)
We have a great dialogue with each other - our boss usually comes and stands in the middle of the corner to talk with us, and the big boss, the president of the entire company (of which my department is a part) sits three meters from us. If you have any questions you just go and ask him. Plus there are always different projects to work on and exciting news and things you can do when you're bored. And don't get me started on how much you can learn when you talk to people from other companies! (Which I do sometimes in the cafeteria.)
The weather is so lovely it's a pure joy to walk to and from work. It's beautiful and sunny. And we've got the super-party next week to look forward too! More about that later. ;-)
