Update from the Swedish girl
Mar. 1st, 2007 12:15 pmLong time, no LJ post. Sorry about that.
I got paid on Friday and I've spent some money on myself, which is always nice.
I bought a new sports bra on sale (since the store is rebuilding.) 20 EUR instead of 40, and it works out great.
I have also been meaning to get a new, fresh robe and when I went to the store I found that they also had a sale!
I bougt a neat 55 EUR robe for 30 EUR. I love sale...
On Monday I went to the hair dresser and had all my worn/split hair cut. The hair dresser also talked me into buying a bottle of Liquid Silicone, which I gather will be good. She demonstrated for me, very shiny!
I still haven't done grocery shopping though. Must do that soon.
I'm still missing Lena. Work is very boring, and also very slow.
My brother Robert came to visit me last night, which was nice. He installed more memory in my computer. He also gave me tips on buying last minute bus trips to Europe if I want to travel.
That way everything is taken care of, accomodations, food, sightseeing. Being herded around like in school "and you like that sort of thing", he said. Hehe. Will look into it this summer.
I have, lo and behold, never been abroad (Finland and Norway doesn't count) and I'm thinking it's time to lose my "travelling virginity" in the next few years. Hehe.
I have a back (and knee) ache, and I've been experimenting with standing up at my desk (I have a raisable desk). It's tiring at first, but eventually it gives. I have now been standing up all morning, and it's going great.
Two nights of sleeping pretty heavily (7,5 hours) in a row. Pretty impressive.
