Stargate SG1, Valpurgis, Old people
Apr. 26th, 2007 11:57 amWow, I've now gone through nine seasons of SG-1 in a little under two months.
That's about 195 episodes, lol.
On Saturday 10 March (after the Swedish ESC try outs) I saw the pilot, which I liked a lot, and yesterday I saw the finale of season nine.
Season 10 is left, and then there's the upcoming DVD films.
I'm gonna go through the summaries and write down the eps I liked for future reference, but generally I can say:
Seasons 2-4 are the best. Season 5 had some great eps, season 7 had its upsides + the best ever finale.
From season 9, although still exciting, I believe the show lost its original appeal, which was uplifting stories, exciting mysteries and friendship with a lot of heart.

After lunch I work two hours at a convention. I've taken the rest of the afternoon off so I'll be home from the gym about an hour earlier.
Monday is Valpurgis Eve and Tuesday is the first of May, so both those are off too. Faithful readers of this LJ know how I usually spend Valpurgis - down town bonfire & fire works and a drink afterwards. Maybe make some nice grilled meat.
Last night I went to my Amnesty meeting at the house of Sven, the previous secretary. It turns out that he 80 May on 27th! Since our next meeting will be the 30th we decided to buy cake and have a meeting/birthday party for him in his garden. That will be fun. Maybe I can volunteer to buy the cake.
