Nov. 1st, 2007 11:56 amTalked to dad yesterday, my aunt is dying. I don't really know her that well so this doesn't affect me, but it affects dad of course, so that's sad.
I've lost two uncles on my mother's side already and I didn't really know them either. It's pretty callous to say, but with a big extended family you tend to get closer to some than others. Like my aunt and uncle who live in Södertälje, I see them fairly often and it would be sad if something happened to them. But some other people I've seen only a handful of times in the last decade and I don't really know them that way.
But like I said, I'm sad that dad is sad. Also, the idea of something happening to my dad is pretty unthinkable to me. He's 70 years old and healthy now, after his angioplasty last year, and I'd like to think he could stay with us for another 15 years at least.
