(no subject)

I've now worked four days. It feels okay.

My vacation was okay. elenhinstar's mother visited her the first week. One day they came to visit me and the night after I went to [Bad username or site: elenhinstar's @ livejournal.com] place and had dinner with them. We had a BBQ on her balcony and drank a lot of wine. It was very nice.

One day we had lunch at a new restaurant over looking the lake. It started raining a lot, and as we went back through town we came upon IKEA's travelling show. They gave out free hot dogs and lemonade, and had caravans that had been decorated with IKEA's latest furniture and textiles. Cute!

The day after I took the train to Uppsala and visited my brother Rickard's family. It was very nice. My niece Julia was especially interested in playing with me. At the train station back home I met my friend Sven from Amnesty. He is 82 years old and had visited his "little" sisters.

Other vacation highlights include buying smoothies at the smoothie stand on the corner, sitting on the balcony, buying rosé wine for the first time (twice) and sleeping a lot. All in all, I had a great vacation. ^^

Race time again!!!!!

Okay in 80 minutes it's time for the annual 5 km running competition! Last year I completed the race in 35 minutes and 40 seconds. My goal is to beat that this year or at least manage the same time.

I have managed to run 5 km in 39 minutes this summer, so it's not looking good. But it will be fun anyway.

Time to stretch now before heading down to the race area. Wish me luck!!!
