Sep. 5th, 2009 11:59 pmJust got back from spending a day at
elenhinstar's place eating take out and watching DVDs. One of the things we watched was Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Last week we watched Star Trek 1. Hmm, am I seeing a trend here? XD Anyway, great day.
About the race, I haven't posted about it because I was waiting for the web site to post the videos but they're not doing that this year apparently. So here goes:
I finished in 35:00 which is exactly 40 seconds shorter than last year. For a while I thought I had done better, so I'm slightly disappointed, but I'm still pleased.
I was cheered on by my friend Lena and her husband, my co-worker Roland who was a volunteer,
elenhinstar, our friend Bengt and this aloof but nice senior citizen I chat with when our paths cross every morning. Everyone hugged and congratulated me, which is what made me suspect my time was really 32 or something like that.
So all in all, great experience like last year, but I can and want to do better next year.
