Vacation time!
Aug. 1st, 2011 02:14 pmI am on my first official day of Vacation 2011! :-)
I am currently up north in my home town after a massive transportation scare on Friday.
I worked until three pm, then I went home, packed my bag and headed for the train station. I had booked a train ticket to the air port but the trains didn't run because of a mad man threatening to jump in Stockholm.
So I jumped in a cab, paid 90 EUR (!!!!!) for a ride to Arlanda air port. It took 50-55 minutes and I was so nervous the whole time that I wouldn't make the boarding. But I did arrive 30 minutes before the plane took off and I even had time to check in my bag!
Parents picked me up at eight thirty and we've spend the weekend here in Luleå. Now, in a few minutes, we will drive to our cabin in a village outside of a town called Överkalix. It's a two hour drive and we will stay there until Sunday. On Monday morning I fly back home where I have two more weeks of vacation.
Life is good. :D
