So my mom removed a sticky label from one of my dinner plates and then looked at me in amazement when I asked her to wash her hands. And then she only held her hands under the water for one second, I kid you not.

*wibbles*

I should explain: one of my huge fears in life is stickers, price-tags, post-it-notes etc. Everything that is sticky. I can abide them as long as they are not in my personal space or in my home. Like, at work I have no problem with the desk next to me having these things as long as there are none at my own.

I got these plates as a gift a couple of years ago and only use them for other people, not for myself. Today she wanted to use one of those plates and then did, THE THING.

I know I may be alone in my disgust of these things but seriously, thoroughly washing your hands when you have touched sticky things is standard. Especially before doing anything related to food.

My dilemma now:

I am thinking of whether or not I should try to re-wash or at least rinse the dishes she washed. Because while her hand might have gotten cleaned in the process of doing the dishes, but that means the first things she washed may have been exposed to THE ADHESION. :O

In other news:

Merry Christmas to you all.
