Killing off your character

In addition to Sherlock, Malin has been feeding me Spooks lately, a UK action drama about British secret service. Very brutal and engaging, with major characters being killed off in brutal and tearjerky ways. Often by giving their lives in service of their country/to save innocents.

And it got me thinking:

Social media detox

I deleted my twitter account almost two weeks ago. I've felt a lot better, so it was a good move.

I would delete my Facebook account too if it wasn't for the fact that I'm a member of a few discussion groups that I like.

I'm still holding out against joining Tumblr, AKA where ignorant teenagers tell you to kill yourself.

It's been several months since I last visited Fail Fandom Anon, Fandomsecrets or any of the other discussion forums.

All I stick to these days is LiveJournal (my original Internet home) and Dreamwidth for my uncensored therapeutic posts.
