Oct. 15th, 2016 11:41 pmI have really weird vivid dreams. A selection:
-Someone filmed one of my obscure monologs and it went viral and a beer company used it in one of their ads.
-My dead uncle and his wife turned out to be serial killers and my father and I were being hunted in a corn field by surviving cult members with machine guns.
-I broke into my college dorm and slept in the bed of the girl who lived there now.
-A cult leader and his wife were wooing my ex-room mate and the wife broke her leg after falling off the balcony. When I told the husband I had called the ambulance he responded by trying to seduce me into their cult.
-One of the recurring dreams I have is of moving into a new apartment only to discover it is run-down and dirty.
-I also dream of returning to old neighborhoods or life events, but it’s completely different and scary: run down, unfamiliar etc. I worry that the emotions from these dreams will replace the real memories of emotions I have from those events.
I don’t think I’ve had a genuinely pleasant dream in years.
