I don't feel cozy in my home. I'm lonely and creeped out by the world and the only thing that comforts me is binge watching Voyager.
Give me the holodeck and those clean, spacious quarters, and those brightly colored drinks in funnily shaped glasses.

This is what I find lacking in the new show Discovery. I don't want to crawl through the screen to join the crew. There's nothing enticing about that world altogether. It's not escapist at all.
