Went to my first ever Trek-day yesterday

Back in 2009 when I was deep into Trek-craze brought on by the new movie, I searched for Star Trek clubs nearby. I found one that was an hour of a half's commute away. But because I hate commuting and big cities, I put it out of my mind.

But now I'm at the point where I realized I have to make myself do things, so I signed up for a year's membership. It's only 8 Saturdays per year, anyway.

I had fun, drank lots of coffee, watched 8 Star Trek episodes, had a greasy lunch and talked to some nice people. I'll definitely do it again.
