Ending the decade the way I started it
Dec. 7th, 2019 09:13 pm...Knee deep in Star Trek-fandom, that is.
Key differences being: Anton Yelchin is dead, my uncle is dead, I've got a different apartment, I've got a completely different job (and salary, lol) and I have short hair.
Oh, and I've written a heck of a lot.
Otherwise, I'm more or less the same, except that ten years ago I was still thinking there was a possibility of getting married and/or having a baby or two.
There were a lot of fandoms in between: Fake News, for about four years, Supernatural for five.
My 40th is Dec 17th and eighteen people are coming. I've got three days off from work (plus the weekend,) so I'll probably have time to clean the place and decorate.
Oh, and I have one more cat! How could I forget Elsa? <3
For the last year I've had this obsession that I'm going to die before I turn 40, but that's obviously not going to happen. I hope to keep ticking for another forty before I kick the bucket! *knocks on wood*
Anyway, I'll put up photos of the party once the dust has settled.
Love to anyone who might be reading this.
