kribbanIt's my birthday and I'm in a really bad mood already.
I slept very little last night because Ragnar was being naughty. I put up the Christmas tree on Saturday and he's going crazy with it at every possible chance. He is slightly calmer now that I don't have any glitter this year but he still loves to play with the ornament and chew on the christmas lights.
I went up 20-30 times last night to spray him with water and chase him away. It's so hopeless. *cries*
Finally with ninety minutes to go I grabbed him and locked him up in the toilet. But it was too late to go to sleep. I rested some, then I got up and showered and now I'm here, waiting for my tea to finish brewing so I can eat my cake. (That's another complaint, I didn't have time to bake the cake this year so I bought a ready made cake bottom and put cream and fillings in and on it. So now it already looks old and tastes strange. But I have a piece I put in a sealed container that's still fresh for tonight.)
So now I'm tired, I have head ache, neck ache, sore throat and I'm very very angry.
I know he's just a cat but I get so angry with him when he does this. The tree has been up two days and already 1/3 of the tree lights are broken (so now I think my tree doesn't look very nice.) He doesn't eat them, he just chews them until they break and go out. How annoying is that!!!!!!
It just makes me sad that I can't have anything nice for Christmas without Ragnar destroying it. I guess I should be happy he at least leaves the rest of my decorations alone.
I'm going to try to take a vacation day tomorrow so I can stay up late tonight. I have fifteen days saved, it doesn't matter if I only have fourteen.
