kribbanMalin and I found a site that calculates how many people have certain names in Sweden. We checked out the usual Star Wars and LOTR names. Frodo, Gandalf, Obi-Wan, Yoda, Aragorn, Legolas, Boromir, Theoden, Meriadoc, Peregrin, Radagast all exist as FIRST names, not middle names. There are 52 (!) women with Leia as their first name. All of this is very cool, but there is one man, granted it is only his middle name but still, called Sauron. WTF? Why would parents name their child Sauron? There's also nine men called Silver but the women only have it as their middlename. Sauron isn't the worst though. There's one man, get this, whose FIRST name is Hitler. I'm not kidding.
In other news, you're going to love this, my brother Robert has e-mailed us and told us that I, Malin, my brother Rickard and his wife are now, again, invited to his wedding but not to the dinner afterwards. Malin is like: "forget it". I can understand her. Four months ago she managed to get New Year´s Day off despite everyone having to work. Then she told her employers that the wedding was off and they put her on call for that day which means she has to be within thirty minutes from work. And now my brother and his girlfriend have changed their minds. Again. So I have to go alone and spoil my New Years Day and go on the fucking commuter train. You can all imagine how I feel right now...
