Sooooo freaked out

kribbanNow keep in mind that I am scared of death. Uh, heights. Sorry, but Freudian slip is funny so I shall leave it in. XD
This is what my balcony looks like today.
They are redoing the exterior of our building and therefore they've taken down all the railings. I knew they were doing it this week, but somehow it just never crossed my mind that they might be doing it today, so I didn't take in my belongings.
I feel so embarrassed... They've secured my stuff (except for my flower box which they probably put somewhere. Where??), but still... That probably caused them extra work. I feel guilty.
I put up lots of tape over the balcony door in an attempt to signal "DO NOT OPEN" to myself. I know I won't open it, but the idea that I have door that leads straight to broken spines and dead cats makes me feel uncomfortable. :-)
