Eurovision 2013 from Sweden!

kribbanMalin just left after watching Semi Final no 1 with me. It's the first time Sweden has hosted the Eurovision Song Contest since the introduction of the Semi Finals.
I like the production so far! Host Petra Mede is very good, the history of Eurovision is funny and the interval acts all seem to be okay. Sarah Dawn Finer is funny too!
And there was a segment from Australia! Apparently a couple million Australians watch the Eurovision every year.
As for the songs: I am very happy that The Netherlands, Denmark and Moldova qualified.
Denmark will win the whole contest, of course, and it's a good song, although I personally prefer The Netherlands or Moldova.
I have been listening to both of those songs - Birds by Anouk and O Mie by Aliona Moon for several weeks. Very good, and the performances just made them better.
Can't wait for Semi Final II on Thursday!
