The weirdest thing ever!!!

kribbanYesterday, one of the weirdest things happened to me.
I had planned to call someone for a job interview on Friday but managed to forget. I e-mailed him that I would call on Monday. Yesterday after I came home from school (I had only been there for the second half of the day since I was feeling sick in the morning) I called the number he had given me. After a while there was some static on the line and a female voice called out. It sounded like she was in some kind of trouble and I asked her if she was. She replied that she and her husband were locked in the basement of the company's house in which they had an apartment. They had gone down to do the laundry and someone had locked them in. They had a phone but they couldn't dial out on it. They had tried but it was a receive-only telephone. She asked me to get the phone book and look up a few names. I did and called the guy up (the owner of the company) and told him that so and so are locked in the basement on that address and could you please call someone who could let them out. I have to admit it was exciting. The couple sounded like they were in their seventies and the woman said that it was a coincidence that I had called, if I hadn't they would have been there all night. The funny thing is, had I remembered to call on Friday they would have.
This has got to be the weirdest thing that's ever happened to me! In other news I wiill go to the doctor in two hours to see what's wrong with me. Whatever it is I hope he can prescribe something for me and make it go away. So far my father has asked if I have bulimia and my mother has asked if I'm pregnant!
