Mandatory Palme murder post

kribbanThis is a short English report on the prosecutor's decision.
I am 40 years old, and the murder investigation has been ongoing for 34 years; it will feel strange to have it closed.
I'm also sad my father didn't live long enough to experience it.
The prosecutor believes Stig Engström is the killer; and I do like the idea of him as the killer. It's proven he lied under oath, and I have to agree that he is the most plausible suspect.
But that's all he is; the most plausible suspect. There's no technical evidence, and if he didn't do it, it's a tragedy he has been condemned after his death. This will be his eternal legacy; guilty or not.
