kribbanLast night our boss said we would get another contract that would last until the end of January. We also learned on Monday that during the Christmas-January period, over three weeks, we only work three days. That's because the company is city owned.
I was happy but couldn't be quite so happy considering the fact that that would mean less money for Clea and me, because we're paid by the hour.
Last night as I was leaving I said the only thing negative about working here was being paid by the hour and so little too.
My boss just took us into a room and told us we were getting a new contract from 1 November with monthly salary and a raise! So A) no more worrying about hollidays and the company closing early before them because we get paid the same salary no matter what (unless we're sick or take some time off of course) and B) after taxes we get about 1500 SEK extra every month. I will get 10200 after taxes on 27 December and 27 January. Yay!
So now I feel all happy.
