kribbanBack to work after the first round of holidays. Nice to be back with the girls and surprisingly enough I slept decently last night. One full day of work today and five hours tomorrow, then we're off for 7 1/2 days (with full pay of course.)
Things to squee about:
1. Used up all my vouchers on Saturday and got really nice clothes for them! A warm and cool pair of pants with strings and pockets everywhere, a new red top, a new cap (threw away the old one!), two pair of socks, five pair of nylon stockings and most wonderful of all a new black glitter top (the old one is falling apart) and a long shiny grey/silver satin skirt (my old fancy satin skirt is falling apart as well.) Combine that with my gorgeous black highheeled shoes (with sparkle!) that I bought last week and I will look very pwetty indeed come New Years! Squee!
2. Did all my New Years cleaning last night, including scrubbing away grease spots which are five years old! Kitchen is not yet immaculate but looks a lot better. Malin also put all her LOTR memorabilia (saturday she bought five new action figures....) in her fancy cabinet so it actually looks nice now. Malin will do all her cleaning today since she is off and I'm at work. She will also do the food shopping that is left for our New Years feast. Saturday I bought two bottles of champagne (no standing in line on the 30/12 like last year!!) plus lots of raw spiced salmon so that's done already. Malin also promised to buy me a frame for my diploma which of course I forgot Saturday. All this means, I'll have no shopping or cleaning to do before New Years!
3. I just called the hairdresser which is on my way home from work and i managed to get an appointment at 5 pm, directly after work, today! Squee! My hair is a worn out mess and now I won't have to rush into town to have it done before ROTK tomorrow. Squee!
