Oscar day!

kribbanAm now at work and have been here for two hours. I've been up since 0200. I'm feeling not so tired actually - just warm and kind of tipsy. Even though I did not get excited or exulted at all I felt a kind of high mood when it was over. I e-mailed and had tea and nibbled on my Flying Jacob
It feels strange now to be back in such a "mundane" world - Monday before noon at the office. BUT I shall alleviate that when I get home (and I do not regret my decision to not take a vacation day today - I want to save them for something really special and not sleep them away!) by exchanging my pants for my fancy skirt and my socks on top of panty hose for my sparkly black princess shoes, and replaying the high lights, listening to the ROTK soundtrack, eating my scrumptious Flying Jacob and chatting and e-mailing. (And smoking.)

It still feels weird to know that as we speak, the boys are out partying. Or maybe they're not, seeing as it is 4,5 hours since the show ended... Who knows?
