Ready for the ESC

kribbanYes! The best song won for once! I'm talking of course about the finale of the swedish try-outs for the ESC. It's been a five week affair but out of 32 songs one was finally elected in the Globe Arena tonight. Won did a great song called "It hurts" (speculators speculate it's about either STD or anal sex) which is written by a very famous swedish artist who made his break in the 80s and was sung by another very famous swedish artist who made her break in the 80s - a lady who is known for her eccentric self-made dresses and sexy image.
She's in her forties and not only wore an ecccentric self-made dress and had her wicked, wicked ways with the microphone stand (moments like these remind me that "Hey! I'm Bi!") but more importantly sang the song very well. For once, I think the first time since 2000, I went "Yes!" instead of "Bleh..." when the votes were counted.
