kribbanJust arrived at work. We did not BBQ yesterday as I baked cookies and did the landry and was generally depressed. Since Malin has today off as well we decided to postpone the BBQ until tonight. It's been raining for 24 hours. I hope it will stop.
We did see Life of Brian that we had rented and I took a shower, managing to be in bed by 2315, 8 hours and 15 minutes before I was supposed to get up. I slept a good seven hours (though I woke up at midnight when for some reason my other alarm clock decided to go off. Tired as I was I didn't find the off button but instead took a pencil, prying the hatch open and tearing out the battery...) and though I feel tired and have a bit of a head ache I feel a lot better today.
Tonight we will BBQ and hang out and I will try to read a bit of e-mail. I've got two stories I'm supposed to read for my friends (great ones, too!) and I will of course see Buffy but I will mostly just hang with Malin and relax.
Now I'm off to a four hour meeting with my department (my six crazy co-workers)! Might be fun!
PS - last night I read this amazingly brilliant and horribly angsty and tragic and horrific Elijah/Dom AU story called Dollface. It was so tragic and awful and beautiful it depressed me terribly. Will try to put it out of my mind.
