Urgh I'm so annoyed and/or scared
Jan. 26th, 2014 10:52 amAt 2230 last night as Malin and I were watching The Hobbit on my new BluRay player (yay!) the doorbell started ringing, hysterically. It was during Thorin's big dramatic scene so we were very annoyed but we held hands and lowered the volume a bit.
See, my neighbour came up on Boxing Day at 2130 and started screaming hysterically at me because I was vacuming. I pushed her out of my apartment and has been ignoring her ever since. There was a period in 2009 when this woman would call me at nine pm on Friday night and ask me to stop watching TV. I kid you not!!
So I was sure it was her. The ringing kept on for about five minutes, followed by banging on the door.
I said to Malin I have a hammer in my tool box and I wonder if I should open the door with the hammer raised.
Then five minutes later a paper is pushed through the letter box. It's from the superintendent who said that 2230 on the 25th of January he had tried to ring my door for several minutes because loud noise was coming from my apartment, and that this is a correction, next time will be a warning.
This morning I googled and I find that you need at least three official warnings, then the board can decide to exclude you from the condominium and then the case is taken in front of a judicial revue board. So I'm not in imminent Jeopardy of being forced to sell my home.
I just have so many feels! Whenever I see this woman again I'm going to look straight ahead and not look her in the eye or answer any of her calls. I think that not engaging her is the best choice of action.
And to watch movies on a lower volume.
