I made the resolution in January to finish all the Harry Potter books (albeit in the wrong order) before the new one comes out (July 16) and to thoroughly read The Lord of the Rings once and for all when the new Swedish translations were released.
Now my plan is to read as much of TTT as possible before July 16 (I have 250 pages left) when I'll devote myself to the new Potter. After that I plan to finish TTT and depending on how long there is before Return of the King is released I may start on another book. I have to get LOTR and HP out of my system (I've been meaning to read them properly for years now) before I can find new books to read, maybe I'll even throw in a non-fantasy one, LOL. Probably the new Marianne Fredriksson (Sweden's most famous author) novel.
I'm not planning on being awfully literary but a couple of books a year is a an accomplishment after years of only reading fanfics, LOL.
