Last week was uneventful. I worked alone with Björn O and not much happened. It was very relaxing. On Thursday I signed the papers to buy the condo. Rationally I am pleased about it because it's a very good apartment and if I hadn't bought it someone else would, but emotionally I am still in denial about everything. I'm scared I won't like it there, especially since it's downtown (albeit only 20 min from Geneta, but still) and I've never lived alone.
On Friday after work (I quit an hour early, at two pm instead of three) I went to Uppsala (bus down town, train to Stockholm, train to Uppsala) to visit my brother Rickard. I had HBP with me so it wasn't bad. Rickard picked me up with Kalle (21 months in the back seat.) I usually don't like children much but Kalle is vrey funny and intelligent. Rickard made waffles and Kalle was very pleased with the flash light I had brought him as a gift. I also held baby Julia though naturally she wasn't as pretty as Kalle. Rickard and Susanne (his wife) tried to help me with furniture for my new place and gave me decorating magazines. After six pm we started walking with the children to the train station. We stopped at a playground so the baby could be fed and Rickard and I let Kalle play with the toys while I took pictures. At the train station Susanne bought HPB (she got the cover I wanted, damnit) and she got a very cool HBP bag that she gave to me. I bought some candy and we said our goodbyes. I was home around nine thirty. I smoked, drank some tea, lit a candle and read HBP.
On Saturday I dyed my hair with the dye I had bought earlier this week. My hair has been looking a mess lately but I don't have money to spend at the hair dresser's right now so I bought one of those home kits that lasts four weeks. It immediately made me feel better once my brown roots were covered. :-)
Malin has worked all weekend and I have just relaxed, drank wine, read, been on the computer and watched TV. Yesterday I decorated the cake I had made on Saturday since it was Kristina day (July 24th.) Malin and I ate it before and after her work.
This morning she left to visit her mother in Umeå and will be back on Sunday. I will, as usual, use the time to relax and work on the computer and read and take care of the cat.
