Ingemar went to meet a potential client, a cake and treats manufacturer, on Thursday and came back on Friday with a large crate of sugared pretzels. You can guess what happened. :-) I had lunch with Roland at a greek restaurant (the one we went to after I had come back from Luleå and he wanted to ask how I was doing) which was nice. After work I went to town and bought a cider and some feta cheese & sun dried tomatoes to make myself a nice salad. I went home and unpacked and then went to the hair dresser where a nice student cut my hair (for 3 euros!) I had planned to go to the gym but she had made my hair up nicely so I went home instead. Watched Bend it like Beckham on TV which was cute and got drunk on my cider.

Yesterday, I washed my clothes, went to the gym & dyed my hair brown. At six I went to meet Malin at the bus stop. We planned to buy the last groceries for the crayfish party but discovered both stores were closed. Grumble.

We went to the cornershop near my house and bought some supplies and then went back to my place to boil potatoes, make salad and set the table. We had an extremely nice evening. Malin had brought whiskey and made some drinks and we listened to Eve Radio all night. She put up the lantern we lit candles everywhere. I had made a Västerbotten-cheese pie like I always do and it was yummy. We smoked on the balcony and watched the canal. For dessert we had whipped cream and pear conserves that my aunt gave me in Juky (the very same day I found out about this apartment, no less.) Malin left around eleven thirty.

Today I am taking it easy, focussing on silence and my projects. I have that feeling of contentment that comes with a clean house. :-) I've been reading When a Fan Hits the Shit and The Two Towers. I'll probably get to The Golden Compass as well, since I read it every day. (Only 160 pages left. Sniff.) I've got Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind to watch & some nice documentaries on the Discovery Channel. (I love Discovery, it makes you feel serene and cerebral. :-) In fact, I think Discovery channel with its nature, history & science shows are more of a reality-escape than the usual noisy, contemporary shows. I've got a banana cake in the oven. Yum. :-)
