kribbanThe meeting was fairly uneventful, as last time. I arrived half an hour early and talked to the secretary some. He was on crutches after having been run over by a car six weeks ago, and had been house bound all through the holiday season (one of his sons had visited him though, so he wasn't completely alone.)
He is in his seventies and wants to be relieved after twenty years on his post. Since no one else volunteered, I did, and people seemed pleased. I've no experience with volunteer work but it can't be that hard to learn. Just a couple of hours work per month, and it's a good cause.
