I shared this with my dear silversolitaire last night but this is too good (?) not to share. This is probably the worst slash story I have ever read and I forced Malin to read it too and she was gaping open mouthed at me and then laughing for ten minutes afterwards. I want to make sure that I don't consider myself to be an impeccable writer in any way and that this writer is talanted and I don't mean to imply that she has bad language or anything of the sort. Just... GAH. UHm. Is it just me or does this person have some sort of fethish? And the characterization... Uhm. This gives OOC a new meaning. I can't explain it to you so I have enclosed a few quotes beneath. You have to read it to understand.

Now for the said thing. It's X-Files, Mulder/Skinner. (No! Not my Mulder/Skinner ship!!!!!) Mulder is, eh, special? And Skinner is "special" as well. And the author is very special...

Quick update. Decided not to go out tonight but perhaps (most likely) do it tomorrow instead because Malin was sick and I all my preparations weren't done so I'd rather do it some day when I didn't have to do any chores at all, when everything was just ready. We are planning that when I come home from work tomorrow we'll put on our fancy clothes and panty hose and make up in thhirty minutes and then we'll take the bus into town and have dinner early at Minako, before it's dark outside and we get tired. Just relax there at the restaurant for two hours, eating their delicious Bento (which I wrote about in my first ever LJ entry). That means we'll be home at nine, take pictures, drink champagne and eact chocolate cake. The boys will of course be there. They're here now too btw and I shall eat. I have a dentist appointment at nine and I don't have to go to work before so I can sleep until 8.15. That means I'll be shiny and perky tomorrow when we start our celebration.

I did see the second episode of The Afflicted Ones last night, and yes it seems to be the un-afflicted brother who is the main character. That has settled me somewhat. I like his character a lot. There was also new characters presented, one of which got his head blown up in the end scene (in front of the brother who got his face splashed with blood. Poor baby, keeps finding death everywhere. And of course the plot thickened.
