Jan. 11th, 2008 09:16 amFirst full week back at work after the holidays. It feels good.
Last Friday Lena worked her last day. She removed all of her things and I took over her desk. Now I have a nice view of the window and I took the opportunity to throw some things away and put things in much better order. I put up the picture of Calle and Julia.
It's sad that Lena has left although it feels like a relief as well. I've known about this for months after all.
Last weekend was okay although I slept in way too late and on Sunday I didn't leave the flat once. Bad Kristina.
On Saturday I went to the gym and then to Malin's job where we took a taxi to her home. We exchanged Christmas gifts and had turkey sandwhiches and halloumi pastries. It was quite nice. I got coffee mugs and cake plates and for birthday present I got a glass sculpture.
On Tuesday I was told the news about the job. On Wednesday there was the monthly company meeting. Yesterday was the annual corporate group kick-off. You could either go in the morning or in the afternoon and I went in the morning. Roland picked me up at seven fifteen and we drove to the arena.
The CEO gave his annual speech, a lecturer talked about finding joy in the workplace, we got to eat the year's first semla (Wheat bun, whipped cream & marcipan) and towards the end the annual awards were given out. All the contestants seemed worthy this year so yay.
We drove back to the office and worked the rest of the day. After work I went to the gym and worked out a lot. In the evenings I've been helping
silversolitaire read through her mastodont fic Collateral.
That is all, I suppose. In fifteen minutes I have an environmental education. Lots of meetings this week.
