Jun. 5th, 2008 02:25 pmIt's two thirty and I'm sitting in front of the computer listening to the radio and drinking tea. Holidays are good. ^^
Today is the last day of my mother's working life. It's also ten years since I graduated high school. Wow, that went fast. Am in no danger of nostalgia though, I much prefer being 28 to 18. I saw a student parade from a far as I walked home. In order to minimize the traffic chaos the different high schools hold graduations on different days, so I'll probably see a few parades next week as well.
The weather continues to be hot and sunny. I bought a box of popsicles on my way home which will come in handy when I can't take the heat anymore. :-)
