Atonement, renovation and some progress

re: the guilt thing.
I've talked extensively with my BFF and I feel a lot better now that I've set up a monthly charity donation that I intend to keep for a long while. Atonement is much more productive that guilt.
Secondly, I read something that gave me a lot of comfort. When you are 18-19, your brain hasn't really finished developing and you are still like a child, expecting to be protected and guided. I am a completely different person today, but then it's not so strange that I was misguided and selfish.
On Monday, my parents came for a four day visit. We had a lot of fun and got a lot of things done around the house. I've got new flowers for my flowerbox, new furniture for the balcony and a really nice lamp for the living room. The lamp was a gift. They also fixed a lot of things (some that had been broken for months) and cleaned the whole place. :D
Now I have three days off. After that I work three whole weeks until it's time for vacation. As of July 1st, I am officially working 100% again.
Also, today I managed to check FandomSecrets, find one secret which I found interesting, read that comment thread and left the rest alone. Alone, I tell you! I am quite proud of this.
