Mar. 10th, 2013 10:05 amLast night the Melodifestivalen final was held. 50% of the points come from an International Jury and 50% come from the televote. Robin Stjernberg with the song "You" (which he co-wrote) came 2nd in the televote but won the International Jury vote by such a margin that he won the whole contest.
Sweden has a system with four semifinals and a "Second Chance". "You" is the first winning entry that came from Second Chance.
Unfortunately the SVT video can't be embedded, but all the YouTube versions suck so I'm linking to it anyway.
You - with Robin Stjernberg
I personally had another favorite, but I think this was a worthy winner. He sings really well and the song is uplifting.
Also of interest for Eurovision fans:
Loreen and a children's choir performed an interesting version of "Euphoria" and Carola gave a 30th anniversary performance of "Främling".
