Jun. 10th, 2006 10:05 amToday is June 10, which is a date I have no trouble remembering.
On this day in 2004 Malin and I got our "good screening at last" of ROTK in Heron City, with pizza and Season three BTVS on DVD afterwards. (God, I wish I could erase my memory of watching Buffy, just so I could watch it all over again.)
And June 10 last year I was at my parents' house, spilling beans and trying not to have anxiety attacks.
Part of the reason I've been weird lately, is because these past few days have been the "one year anniversary" of my break down and our break-up (even though we lived together for two more months after that.)
After work yesterday Lena drove me to town. I was a bit sickly so I didn't want to go to the gym. We arrived in town at the same time as the graduation parade.
Quick history: In Sweden high school graduates A) rush out on the school steps singing traditional songs before being greeted with flowers, tiny wine bottles and signs by family members and B) ride around town on the back of trucks singing, honking horns and making noise in general.
After she dropped me off I stayed behind in town and watched the parade a bit. It was packed with people, and everyone was wearing signs and cameras. I very much enjoyed watching the students.
I was also a bit surprised because in Södertälje the graduation is usually on a Thursday, but maybe different schools graduate on different days? In Södertälje they also march up to the mountain for the ceremony before the truckage mayhem:

I bought a bottle of wine, strawberries, flowers and some other stuff and spent the evening doing laundry in high heels & skirt, watching Angel DVDs and making the traditional lasagne. This year I thought I'd try something new and used ready made cheese sauce and fresh lasagne plates. It was the most delicious lasagne I had ever made. And low fat, too. :-)

Now, for something completely different.
