Still sitting at school. Project mates have gone home. Turned out to be quite a productive and creative day. Wrote lines for two characters and got lots of compliments, videotaped poor David who had to act my creation, and then they videotaped an actress and then we loaded everything into the computer. Go us! Have some additional footage to shoot tomorrow morning and then it's editing time. Feel all accomplished. School is fun! I can't wait to get back tomorrow morning. But sadly, no lunch. :-( Will go and buy something to eat and take the train home to an empty apartment where i will eat, clean up in the kitchen, sleep, talk to my mom who calls every wednesday night and try to avoid bringing up the wedding-issue, and then I will watch myself at eight o'clock. :-)

About "Who wants to be a Millionaire?". It was quite long and uncomfortable. We had to wait in the very drafty studio, in the middle of nowhere by the way, for about thirty minutes to be let in, and when we finally were, all the seats were taken and I had to sit in the steps. VERY uncomfortable. It hurt my back and my chest like hell, having my intestants squeezed together like that. It still hurts a bit. The taping took three hours!

And it was cold. And we got nothing to eat, only cider that they kept pouring into us every chance they got. What surprised me most about the show was how much "cheating" they actually do. When the contestants have pressed their buttons it takes about two minutes for the computer to calculate who was quickest. When you see the show on TV it takes ten seconds or so. Also, when it is announced who gets to play, and they walk up to the host it looks on TV like they immediately walk over to the chair. In fact, there's a twenty minute break in which they calm the contestant down, give them coffee etc, and load the questions into the computer.

The final contestant reached level 13 but had to stop on level 14. It was quite exciting with the lights and music and i almost forgot about the discomfort. I managed to get a seat on the bus back to Stockholm and i managed to catch the right train at the nick of time. I was home at 00.30 and didn“t go to bed until 01.30. I'm quite tired today.

Still, it was definitely worth it. I got some good notes for my report out of it (I had to hide my notepad whenever they said 'action'). The swedish host, Bengt Magnusson, is kind of a big star here, and was voted Sexiest Man In Sweden in 1999 (he is in his fifties). He talked a lot to us audience and was very funny, so that was an added perk to the experience. Still, I wouldn't do it again. Not this late, anyway!

Now, I'm going home!
