I love my parents

kribbanJust talked to mom. A while back I asked them to look out at second hand stores for a small iron frying pan (awesome quality) like mom has. Now they have found one, and mom has scrubbed the inside clean, and dad is taking it to the cabin to use his scrubbing machine on the outside it and then they're gonna heat it in the oven to make it nice and clean for me.
Conference yesterday was nice, and I was home way before eight.
We were in a theatre which was cool. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. First we had to summarize the year in groups and do a presentation. I did most of the talking, and people told me I was very good. After eating lunch I managed to slip away and post the invitations for the Amnesty meeting next week.
In the afternoon we got to see improv theatre and then all the groups got to write and act out a skit, which was very cool and funny. Dinner was eaten on the stage (they set up tables) and consisted of a buffet, wine and beer. I got a little drunk and had a good time.
They handed out the bear (which I got last year, remember) and the ship, which our department got for the second time! Yay! It was all very good.
