Malin just went to work. The apartment is squeeky clean, and I always like that. We had really yummy wraps before she went, and we will eat more of them when she comes home at 3 am. So apartment clean, self clean, tummy full. All set for writing actually. Just hope I´ll manage to get some work done. I have exactly these two days of relaxation and then the new class starts. Internet Publishing. For some reason, I´m not at all excited, HTML seems so boring. *pouts* Video was so much more fun. It´s funny, I cleaned for about an hour today, I took the bathroom which is Malin´s chore to be nice to her, and then she whines about the fifteen minutes of cleaning she had to do. And then we got into a fight because she was so angry that evil!Kristina forced her to do a bit of cleaning, even though evil!Kristina did most of the work. And then I say "I only ask you to clean once a week, only once a week, I can´t understand why that is so horrible". I also said that *everyone* has to clean at least once a week to keep the house from looking like a tomb, and to prevent astma, and then she goes ballistic and starts yelling "Who says we have to clean every week?!", and that SHE doesn't mind if the flat is messy and dusty, and if I am so sensitive that I care, then it´s up to me to keep it clean! I mean, I´m understanding but..... Could someone please tell her that cleaning is a fact of life? I mean, tough luck, there are things in life you have to do even though you don´t like them, and damn it, cleaning is one of them. What´s even more puzzling is the fact that she used to clean full time for a living! And why wouldn´t one want to keep one´s home tidy? I don´t understand people who just let the dust gather! I want to bring people home and be proud over how I keep house, I mean, I may be old fashioned, but still... Dust is yucky. And we have a cat, so we have to clean to keep from drowning in cat hair.
