This was a let down....

kribbanSo we were going to have our first meeting for the fall in our local Amnesty group. I cleaned up, baked a cake, and then only one person showed up!
Naturally, we couldn't have the meeting, and since the person in charge of picking up the collecting tin from the grocery store wasn't there we didn't have any money to count either.
What's annoying is that only three people called and said they couldn't make it. I understand if that one member didn't call since he is 80 years old but the rest of them sure could have.
I and the guy who did come ate the cake and then he left. Next try in one month. I am definitely going to mention this in my next group letter!
