One Hundred Random Facts & Statements about myself

1. I was born up north and still have the accent to prove it.
2. When it comes to local patriotism, I’m a committed serial monogamist.
3. I spent New Year’s Eve 1999 at the Royal Family’s Millennial Ball at Stockholm Castle.
4. Two toes on each foot are webbed due to a mutation on my mother’s side of the family.
5. I also have crooked pinky fingers due to said mutation.
6. Thankfully, I was spared the crooked pinky toes.
7. When I was eighteen I won the city’s youth novella contest and used the prize money to visit my girlfriend.
8. When I was nineteen I went to visit my girlfriend permanently.
9. Over the past couple of years I’ve become a fairly innocent person.
10. I’ve done two or three really evil things in life.
11. I believe redemption is necessary for being a good person.
12. I fear and dislike strong emotions.
13. Despite my two brothers starting eight and six years before me, I graduated college before they did.
14. I majored in Philosophy.
15. I got my title listed in the phone book.
16. My thesis was on Spinoza’s argument that freedom of choice is an illusion.
17. Reason and optimism is what I value most in life.
18. I’ve got a very clear vision of who my authentic self is. The problem is I don’t always act like my authentic self.
19. I lived with my ex girlfriend's RP characters for six years.
20. I miss the conversations the most.
21. I haven’t had sex with anyone since I was twenty three.
22. The idea of having sex again is as frightening and far fetched as going to the moon.
23. I’ve never done any illegal drugs.

48. There are advantages to a life in celibacy. Not worrying about pregnancy, is one of them.
49. I am devoutly poly-fandomal.
50. There are about ten fandoms I read fanfiction in.
51. Have been a slasher since I was sixteen and I think it has saved me from considerable depression.
52. My favourite kitchen tool is my electric BBQ grill that I use on the balcony. Electric = no smoke = allowed to use on balcony.
53. I am ethically superior to one of my brothers. Case in point: he makes twice the amount of money that I do, yet he fileshares, has an under the table maid service and does not pay his television license.
54. On the other hand, he and his wife are adopting a child from India, so I think their karma debt has been cancelled.
55. I once, by accident, saw a child pornographic image. It really isn't something you can unsee.
56. Despite being a northener, I haven't eaten (regional delicacy) fermented herring in almost fifteen years.
57. I have a cat. The cat is mine. Mandatory Kids in the Hall reference aside, his name is Ragnar and he's over weight.
58. I play exactly three computer games: Civilization II, Sim City 3000 and Sims 2.
59. When I was a child The Cocoon was my favourite film.
60. When I was a teenager my favourite film was The Terminator.
61. I quit a prestigious radio school so I could move down to Södertälje and be with my girlfriend.
62. I might have been a radio journalist if I hadn't.
63. I'm really glad I did.
64. When something is advertised as "sharp satire" or "politically incorrect sarcastic wit" I tend to look away. I like my humor warm and inoffensive.
65. I actually like political correctness. Sort of. I'd rather be disrespected behind my back than to my face.
66. I actually like the song "Anna the Bot".
67. I'm a very average person. Politically average, socially average, sexually below average. Unless you count masturbation, in which case I probably rate higher.
68. I've always said I saw an angel in church when I was a child but now I think I might have imagined it.
69. I'm drawn between atheism and lutheranism.
70. On most days, lutheranism wins.
71. As most Swedes, I aspire to being an ordinary kind of person.
72. I live a quiet life. Literally quiet.
73. Sometimes, when I realise how long I have lived and how many versions of me have come and gone, I'm washed over by the realisation: “This is how my life turned out.”
In some ways, I feel like my life is over. In other ways, it hasn't yet begun.
74. The only thing that terrifies me more than life is death. I think this is a good attitude.
75. I used to be more of a winter person than a summer person. Now the absence of sunlight depresses me enough to loathe the winters along with everyone else.
76. I am at heart a very shallow person. Not superficial, but shallow; like a nice, warm lake where no matter how far out you walk your feet always touch the ground.
77. The thing I'm in denial the most about is the fact that one day in the not so distant future, my parents are going to die.
78. Although the prospect of having children seems alien and frightening to me, the consequences of not having children seem equally terrifying.

85. My name was suggested to my father by an old relative of his. If it hadn't, my parents would have named me Regina.
86. The accomplishment that gives me the most satisfaction is when I write a fanfiction story I feel proud of.
87. It once took me four years to write a 100 page story. By the time I finished writing it, I had grown a dislike for the subject matter.
88. I was a couch potato until I was 25.
89. Now I go to the gym three times a week. And it's starting to show!
90. I work as a B2B acount manager for an energy company, which means I sell electric contracts to businesses.
91. I like the benefits of my job a lot: okay cafeteria, good pay, good boss, really cool colleagues, lots of vacation time and walking distance to my flat.
92. The older I get, the more of a fangirl I become. Real people don't attract me anymore, I much prefer fictional characters.
93. I lived under "marital circumstances" with a woman for six years before we broke up in 2005. Even if I never live with someone again, I'm glad I have that experience.

95. I'm twenty eight years old, and I went on my first trip outside Scandinavia a couple of months ago. It was very enjoyable.
96. It's a myth that slashers are more open minded than other people. Some of the most narrow minded, bigoted nut jobs I've met have been slashers.
97. I am capable of getting very angry, which is odd considering fact no. 12.
98. I have a nephew called Calle and a niece called Julia.
