During Easter there was this case where a mother and her two kids were stabbed by an unknown assailant. The kids died, the mom was in a coma for two weeks. They still are not sure who did it, but they have one suspect, a woman in Germany.

So the news have been full of that lately. Tacky headlines as usual, when the papers try to spin the tragedy in all directions.

Then one week ago a ten year old girl went missing in a small town. Luckily the girl had been photographed by a person trying out their camera and a minute after a car had also been photographed by the same person. The police caught the owner of the car who confessed yesterday that he had murdered the girl. He led the police to the body and also confessed to a murder in 2000. They are now checking his DNA against the registry for other crimes.

So now the tabloids are full of that. The most awful detail about this story is that this was the first time the girl was allowed to bicycle home from practice by herself. She had apparently asked her mother to let her go on her own and her mother had let her. Talk about irony. ;_;
