Kristina News round-up

kribbanFrom Thursday to Saturday I was at a work conference. The whole company went to Gotland, the largest Swedish island, to look at wind power plants and meet with wind power representatives. On Friday evening we went on a "treasure hunt" in midevial Visby which was fun (my team won) and then we travelled a fair bit to reach a fancy restaurant to have dinner. The food was good, the wine was good and there were speeches and applause.
We arrived back at the hotel at midnight and I went straight to bed. 14 of us had chosen to take the early boat home, so we got up at five thirty and had breakfast. I slept about forty five minutes on the boat. When we arrived on the mainland I was going to take the bus back to Södertälje, but one of my co-workers had room left in her car, so I went with her. I arrived home at half past eleven and spent the day grocery shopping and going to the gym. I'm really glad I chose to go home early so I could do those things and not have the whole day wasted. The others didn't come home until the evening.
Today I've done laundry and walked to the store. The weather is nice. Next week is another short week since Valpurgis Eve is on Thursday. I'm looking forward to that a lot.
