kribban1) Today, August 16, my parents have been married for 40 years, AKA Ruby Marriage. They are totally my role models in love and romance. I talked to dad today and he said "If we've been married this long we'll probably manage for the rest of our lives as well." He also said that while he had other offers (!) Mom was the best wife he could have gotten.
2) I read in the local news paper that last summer there were about ten out door rapes reported in Södertälje. This summer the number is zero. They think it's because the police busted a "rape gang" earlier this year. A group of men who have been convicted for a few rapes and are being investigated for more.
3) The annual 5 km city running competition is on Saturday. I'm competing for the second time. Tonight I ran the route for the first time. It took 45 minutes, (last year I finished on 35.40) but I took it slow, so I'm not THAT worried. I run another 5 km with my friend Lena on Wednesday, so I should be more prepared than last year.
