It's 2012!

kribbanI went to bed at 22:15 and put the alarm clock at 23:45. A bit late it turns out as the show I wanted to watch started at 23:20. Nevermind, I was awake and drinking champagne by the time the clock turned midnight. I watched the fireworks from the balcony as usual. They were amazing as usual, although I saw a lot of paper lanterns as well.
This has got to be the most anti-climactic New Year's Eve of all time. I'm not even pleasantly drunk, just champagne-tired.
Oh well, I've got Ben & Jerry Chocolate Fudge Brownie in the fridge and my cats have fallen asleep again after being terrified during the fireworks display.
